And just like that we only have 24 days left in 2021. I tend to use this month to reflect on my successes and failures over the past 11 months. This gives me time to celebrate those successes. It also gives me time to think about what I did wrong with the failures so I can succeed in the coming months.

I plan on finishing 2021 off with a bang! Andrew did take me up on an end-of-year challenge. We are seeing who can create the most content before the end of December 31. I am writing content for Wallet Squirrel and him for our affiliate website. Currently, he is up by one article. Whoever writes the most, wins a large chunk of change.

I will crush him though! MUHAHAHA!!!

What We Managed to Accomplish in November!

  • Andrew continues to crush it on our affiliate website. Sorry, that is a secret for now.
  • We were featured in an expert roundup on Retirement Investments, which was super cool!
  • Adam started a series about the metaverse. He takes a deep dive into what it really is.
  • We also shared some other new awesome articles:

Income For November

October was our seventh month in a row with over $500 of income! We have been working through some personal life stuff over the last few months. With those behind us, we feel like we are getting things back on track which feels amazing! Right now, with this income, we are putting it to work for us by reinvesting back into Wallet Squirrel and our affiliate website. This reinvestment is intended to help us grow the two websites.

Wallet Squirrel November 2021 income report.

These are all pretty incredible income generators and we’ve mentioned them before on the blog.

  • Affiliate Marketing – we earn a commission if someone buys a product through a link on your website
  • Blue Host Affiliate –  an affiliate link for website hosting we use.
  • Online Surveys – we earn money from participating in online surveys like Swagbucks.
  • Stock Photography – we earn money whenever one of our photos sells online.
  • Interest Checking/Saving Account – we earn interest on the money in our checking and savings accounts.
  • Cash Back Credit Card – we earn extra money via 2% cashback from using our credit card.
  • Lending Club – we earn interest from peer-to-peer lending.
  • Dividends – we earn dividends from the stocks we own.

Monthly Expenses for Wallet Squirrel

The expression “It takes money to make money” is actually pretty accurate. As we learn new skills, we find new software and processes that help us make more money. However, they come with a cost for their convenience. Here is where our money went in July.

Monthly Expenses – $99 Total

  • Bluehost [$36] – Hosting Service
  • Sitelock [$8] – Extra security for our Bluehost servers
  • Domain [$2] – So we can keep the domain WalletSquirrel.com
  • Bloom [$7] – Our email forms, but we’ll likely be getting rid of this soon.
  • Grammarly [$12] – We can’t live without this amazing grammar tool
  • The Noun Project [$4] – The best site for icons for our infographics.
  • Sendible [$30] – A social media scheduling platform. Adam seems to really enjoy it!

Everything leftover has been invested in my dividend portfolio.

What’s Next For December

Andrew continues to work on our affiliate website. This site has a lot of potential to grow into something special. I am very excited to see where this goes in the next few months.

Adam will continue to work on Wallet Squirrel by creating new content and building content. Look out for more articles about the metaverse. This series is turning out to be awesome! He hopes to get more link building done as well.

We look forward to seeing what our competition brings. This really is a win/win for us as we are producing SOOO much content.

Andrew has given Adam two more months to make some special out of our Instagram and other social media accounts. That is going to be a mountain to climb!

We wish you the best!

Cheers!

Adam and Andrew
