Income Report – February 2020
Income Report – February 2020
Every month for the last 5 years I have included these Income Reports as a way to share with Wallet Squirrel readers that it’s possible to make money on the side in addition to your day job. Plus I also like to keep track of these various income sources because it’s cool to see.
Everything I make, I use to keep this website alive and use the rest to invest. Because that’s the entire purpose of Wallet Squirrel. We want to make extra money and invest it to create more income!
However, with this Income Report, I’m excited to share a special surprise! Adam is back!
For the last year and a half, I (Andrew) have been maintaining Wallet Squirrel while also building a charity donation website called Forever Donor. However it was incredibly draining, so I have been winding down Forever Donor (reasons to come) and now Adam has come back to help make Wallet Squirrel everything we ever wanted.
A lot of thought went into what worked before (300,000 readers since day 1), what we would do differently (maybe give people candy) and what we see the future of Wallet Squirrel to be. Yet the most important factor is what excites us and how do we have fun? This is how we spend our little “free time”, so we want this to be a blast for us.
2020 is going to be very fun!
INCOME REPORT
What’s more fun than looking at last month’s income? Honestly, it wasn’t anything too special. A casual month making around $100 but with the nice addition of a “sponsored post”. It takes a lot for me to consider a “sponsored post” but we have to do them every once in a while, with strict requirements like they have to be exceptional. Lol
If you’re curious about any of these income sources (9 total) check out our articles on each one below. Many of these are simple changes you can make like switching to a cashback credit card or moving to a better interest bank. These are easy changes you can do over a weekend.

What’s next of Wallet Squirrel
Well, we’re not changing dramatically, but you will notice a couple of changes.
- We’re going back to a post every week! (Yay Consistency)
- We’re restarting our monthly email newsletters (sign up below because we have fun squirrel memes)
The biggest change you’ll notice about Wallet Squirrel is a bit more presence on social media and around the web. Adam and I are trying a new strategy where I’m writing more in-depth articles for each week. While Adam is using his vast SEO and data knowledge to make Wallet Squirrel a more well-known blog online. It used to be extremely defeating when we both spent all our time writing articles only to have no one know about them. Now we have the confidence knowing one person will be writing amazing money articles while the other makes sure the world sees them.
That’s what’s new for 2020. We’re using our two-person power to build an epic Wallet Squirrel brand and have fun doing it!
Wallet Squirrel is a personal finance blog by best friends Andrew & Adam on how money works, building side-hustles, and the benefits of cleverly investing the profits. Featured on MSN Money, AOL Finance, and more!
Did you hear the great news? We’re possibly getting stimulus $ gUaP $ soon! 🙂
